Sonar launches nationwide residential development programme using modular timber construction

Sonar Development (Sonar) is launching a nationwide residential development programme using modular timber construction in German metropolitan regions. This initiative is part of a long-term institutional mandate via the platform of the investment company Institutional Investment Partners.
The programme begins with a housing project in Hamburg-Barmbek, where a well-known Hamburg developer has acquired an approximately 2,900 sq m site. A five-storey courtyard building and a six-storey block along the street frontage, built to KfW Standard 40, are planned. Around 80 residential units, ranging in size from approximately 40 to 100 sq m, will include a mix of privately financed and subsidised apartments. [...]
